Multiculturalism is about contribution, not about dependency. By critical reflections of the \"Domestic Multiculturalism in Koshigaya\" and the \"Hogaku and Minyo Across the Ocean\" events, the author lays out in six sections how Bunkyo University, through the creation of a Faculty of Foreign Languages in 2017, is attempting to address cultural biases surrounding Japanese traditional culture.
