This old street has much historic architecture of different construction dates as cultural heritage, and today this street has become a popular tourist spot in Taiwan. The reason is that the local authorities and the inhabitants have preserved the historical environment and nostalgic atmosphere of this area, while at the same time has enhanced attractive features through the renovation of old buildings.
