However, the copyrights of television programs are owned by organizations such as television stations, not by people, except for some writers and composers. While staff with professional skills are involved in the production of TV programs, directors are in charge of the most creative work that affects the performance of the programs. The number of directors of TV programs who participated in this survey was small and it took time to collect samples. It was revealed that about 70% of the participants considered that copyrights should be entitled to the people who directed the programs. The technical environment of TV is changing drastically with the influence of digitization and ultra-high definition of 4K and 8K. Reconsidering the rights of TV directors, who create the tone of programs, will increase their motivation.
