Survey 1 analyzed the results of a survey on the frequency of dream recall of university students. The survey has involved 8,987 respondents over 24 years straight. Looking at the changes over time as a result of asking for a rating of the dream recall frequency in seven stages, dream recall frequency tended to decrease sharply after 2013. This coincides with the spread of smartphones, suggesting that the use of smartphones may have reduced the frequency of dream recall. In Survey 2, 374 university students were asked to evaluate the amount of smartphone usage, dream recall frequency, and frequency of experience by sensation/emotion. Results revealed almost no relationship between the amount of usage and the dream recall scale, although the facilitative effect was weaker than the disturbing effect. In Survey 3,488 university students were asked about the amount of smartphone usage before falling asleep, the services they used, falling asleep, dream recall frequency, and frequency of experiences by sensation in order to examine the possibility that the use of smartphones interfered with dream recall. Results revealed no disturbing effect on the frequency of dream recall, and the hypothesis was not confirmed. People who use SNS before and after bedtime tend to hear and speak more frequently, indicating that the use of smartphones may affect the content of their dreams.}, pages = {59--70}, title = {スマートフォンの利用は夢見に影響を与えるのか?}, volume = {42}, year = {} }
