The purpose of this study was to examine the rate of discrimination of the Japanese version of the Type D Scale (DS14) in patients with CHD.\n[Method] Participants (N=255; 135 patients with CHD, 121 normal adults) completed questionnaires including the Japanese version of the DS14.\n [Results and discussion] Logistic regression analysis indicated that the discriminative predictive value of the DS14 was 77.0% in patients with CHD, 73.1% in normal adults, and 75.2% overall.
