The target work is the poem Hukei to Orugoru. The method is to perform geological verification and then apply psychiatric approach. We conclude that the rock neck in the poem Hukei to Orugoru is not a volcanic neck in the geological sense, but a representation of past experiences in the mind of Kenji Miyazawa.
