| 内容記述 | If we can not use vehicle like car or train, must keep strict religious commandments and have difficulties for getting drinking water and using gas, our modern cities will be thrown into confusion. Many many people on this earth survive enjoying their lives in such conditions. This essay reports about south-east Bangladesh living, through my trip with four Bangladeshi ladies, and consists of six parts. The first half of the six parts is about relationship between nature and living. The latter half is about daily living style including religion. First part is about rivers and transportation. Location of large rivers in Bangladesh, water-transportation meaning, my experiences of Meghuna river boat and Padma river-ferry, bustles of river harbors, obstructions of land vehicles and small boat role as bridge and lighter, these things are written. Second one is about living condition during rainy season. This includes boat trip in pouring rain and muddy or inundated road. Third is about the tropical rain forest named Sundarbans. Fourth is about spiritual environment in Bangladesh. Mainly Islamic society and women's religious commandments are reported. Public lavatory problem is mentioned in connection with special restruction to women because the society can not allow women to go out freely. Fifth part is about food living in countryside. First of all, water supply to humanbody is very important for our life, so here ways how to get clean water are written. I give an account of the meal regarding hygenic and tasty food, Bengal coustom of having food, and fuel for cooking and heating. Last part is about the relationship between religion and beggar. |
