| 内容記述 | At persent, TV is the most popular medium for news reporting. And for these ten years, the hours of TV news reporting increased. Many people are intersted in programs concerning privacy, and daytime programs, so-called Daytime-Wide-Shows, cover the privacies of TV-stars and singers everyday. There are many critical opinions on programs of privacies. According to the survey results, more than half persons recognized the present TV news reporting violate privacies. Especially more than 70% of the respondents have sympathy for families of a victim or a suspected person, when they are televised. More than half persons have critical opinions against too many programs on wedding and divorce of TV -stars and singers. The Japanese Constitution guarantees the freedom of expression. However, the freedom of expression should be based on the thought that it brings happiness to the people. Therefore, the reporting of privacies, including daytime TV shows, shoud not be guaranteed by the freedom of expression. In other words, privacy should be guaranteed although we cannot find such words in the Japanese Constitution. In the case of politicians and government officials, privacy is restricted because they are the representative of the people and their activities are watched by the people. The survey results show about two thirds of the respondents approved TV news reporting covers privacies of politicians and officials. The needs to know the privacies of TV-stars and star-players of sports are somewhat strong, and these informations can bring happiness to the people. The survey results show a little more than half of the respondents approved TV news reporting covers privacies of TV-stars and star-players of sports. At last, TV news reporting can cover privacies within it brings happiness to the people. However, the present situation that too many programs cover privacies is criticized by many survey respondents. |
