| 内容記述 | This essay is to review exegetically the literature on methodological problems in economics and finance as a guide to construct the basic framework in order to avoid the unnecessary confusion which would otherwise occur. A general idea will be gained on crucial points of scientific methodologies developed in the field of philosophy of science when applied to the explanation of the history and structure of economic theory. The concept of Kuhnian paradigms is employed in clarifying the characteristics of neoclassical economics. As a counterexample of the neoclassical paradigm, the Keynesian framework on dynamics, uncertainty, and disequilibrium is reviewed in an exegetical way. This essay will be followed by several articles treating both theoretical and empirical aspects of finance. The bibliography for the present and subsequent articles is rather comprehensive, and will appear in the end of the final article. |
