| 内容記述 | China, a growing economy, needs large amount of energy resources to maintain its economic growth. To secure them is the vital issue for Chinese authorities, and then, their"energy resource diplomacy" is developed vigorously by keeping with the governmental agencies and the national conglomerates such as CNPC, Sinopec or CNOOC. One of the main targets in Central Asia is oil and natural gasses in Kazakhsthan and Chinese presence there is very strong. Moreover China is eagerly seeking for strengthening the economic ties with Russia for getting its resources, so China positively tries to improve the diplomatic relations with Puchin government. However, the most important issue for China is how to maintain the relations of "competitive coexistence" with the US. Because the US has predominant power over the regions from Middle to East China Sea which are the important ones as China's import route of its increasing dependence on energy resources, China must seek for establishing the hostile but cooperative diplomatic relations with the US. One of the hotspots between China and the US is the Taiwan Straits where is becoming the focus of scrambling powers of both countries as well as Taiwan and Japan.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the dynamism of the contemporary China'"energy resources diplomacy," and consider the prospect of the East Asian security from the point of its energy issues. | |||||||
