| 内容記述 | Making clearer the academic framework of intercultural studies, this research tries to lay the foundation of certain educational programs for the Department of International Tourism. The research focuses on Southeast Asia in terms of fieldwork scene and on museum tourism in terms of study program. Some study tour programs will be developed for the Intercultural Section in the Department of International Tourism. First the area for fieldworks, that is where to go for study and learning is discussed. Why Asia or East Asia or Southeast Asia is the place to go for study by Japanese students is examined. And what is going on now in Asia or Southeast Asia is considered. Secondly, the relation between memories and regions is taken into consideration. Especially the relations between the memories of wars and museums in Southeast Asia are introduced from a peace education perspective. In conclusion facts which play a decisive role in learning about transnational cultures are considered. Thirdly practical issues in using museums for university students in Japan are discussed. A museum visit program for overseas museums in Southeast Asia will be developed. The desirable outcomes of these museum visit programs are addressed. |
