| 内容記述 | Diversification and deterioration of college students' scholastic ability and motivation have become more and more serious in these days. It has become important to teach about university education system and study skills and to motivate college students. Over 40% of Japanese universities had Basic Seminar for freshman in 1997. A survey among students of Faculty of International Studies at Bunkyo University shows that Basic Seminar almost achieve its aim. But teachers think that there are several problems to improve. They are to reduce the number of students, to increase discretion of teachers, and select minimum essentials. It is also important to have cooperation with other courses and to exchange teaching experiences one another. |
