| 内容記述 | Starting in April 2018, Moral Education will be implemented as a Special Course in schools in Japan.The Council for Restructuring Education that met from October 2006 to January 2008 had proposed that the curriculum include a course in Moral Education, but the proposal never came to fruition. What does the fact that a course in Moral Education did not become part of the curriculum mean? The aim of this paper is to attempt to evaluate the debate over including a course in Moral Education in the curriculum and the outcomes of that debate by specifically focusing on the deliberations of the Council for Restructuring Education. |

| 内容記述 | 中央教育審議会の答申や学習指導要領の改訂を経て、2018年度より道徳が「特別の教科」へと格上げされることになった。この「道徳の教科化」は2006年10月～2008年1月に開催されていた教育再生会議でも提唱されていたことであるが、当時は教科化には至らなかったものである。しかし、「教科化に至らなかった」ということは、どう評価するのが妥当なのであろうか。本稿は特に教育再生会議に焦点を当て、そこでの「道徳の教科化」をめぐる議論の展開とその帰結への評価について考察を行うものである。 | |||||||||||||
