| 内容記述 | Career Support Division is providing career development program for preparing job hunting activities at Bunkyo University Shonan Campus. However, the participation rate to those courses is not very high. Students who actively participate in the career development program provided by the Career Support Division are with high awareness of job hunting activities, so that job hunting activities are also going smoothly. As a result, highly motivated students earn a job offer earlier than other students. However, students with low consciousness concerning employment and their own career development do not participate in career development programs provided by the university, so the timing to start job hunting is delayed, and as a result they cannot earn a job offer as easily. For those students who are not conscious of job hunting, how to motivate them to participate carrier development program are very important issue for university. To solve this problem, we conducted the study on the practical career development program. Main feature of the program is to provide the real experience of job hunting process, such as group interview, group discussion, and examination, to the participants. Experiments based on job hunting simulation and questionnaire results revealed that it is difficult to dispel students’ anxiety about job hunting activities only with existing career education subjects. In addition, with the participation in the job search activity simulation, students were able to understand what to do in future, such as the lack of self-analysis and interviewing measures. In order to enhance the satisfaction of students, we will continue to study the effectiveness of practical career development programs and to consider further on the realization of the program.
