| 内容記述 | This paper, aiming to reconsider the communicative competence of the younger generation, examines the expressions of refusal, solicitation and question used by the youth, and the interactions among close friends in SNS (Social Networking Service). As a result, it is found that the youth make consideration in various ways to carry things smoothly. In particular, their communicative behavior with various “speech character” (Sadanobu 2006) in SNS indicates that they have a large repertoire of available option in Japanese. It is suggested that the communicative competence of the younger generation is characterized by their distinguished “ability to use many variations” (Shibuya 2008). | |||||||||||||
