"本文主要介绍日本江户时代由当时著名的汉语学者岡岛冠山所编《唐话纂要》假名注音中辅助符号“圈点”的使用情况以及分析这些符号的使用意图。作为当时最早且代表性的汉语教科书和非常重要的语音资料,《唐话纂要》书中所出现的这些符号尚未被详细调查和具体解释。该书中主要有两种辅助记号,均为“圈点”形式,一种是假名右上角的右肩点“゜”,用于标记当时日语中不存在的语音,另一种是标在假名和假名之间的中间点“〇”。◆　本文对原刊本《唐话纂要》中圈点的使用例进行统计分析,得出以下结论：◆　提示汉字并非按照假名注音发音的右肩点,在「ハ行」和「サ」的使用上不但分别和[p-]、[ts-]两个不送气辅音相对应,还分别对应[pʻ-]、[tsʻ-]两个送气辅音；对应元音[-ə-]的使用例并非罕见；此外,还零星出现于「悦」、「地」等汉字的假名注音上。◆　作为隔音符号的中间点,不单出现在「ア段+ウ」([-a]+[u])的情况下,还在「エ段+ウ」([-e]+[u])的情况下被大量使用。由于当时日语[-a]+[u]和[-e]+[u]已分别融合为[-o:]和[-io:],因此需要使用隔音符号提示不能按日语的习惯念成[-o:]、[-io:],而应该念作[au]和[eu]。",
