| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual situation of collaboration activities between primary industry and tourism. We focused on Toba City. Toba City works on public-private partnership focusing on cooperation and circulation of fishery and tourism, and has experience in local development by this tourism business. We interviewed people who work in the tourism industry while engaged in fishing in Toba City about their hardships in their business and their way of thinking. From the interview survey results, in the Toba City activity where fishery and tourism collaborated, we got the impression that the fishermen were motivated to improve their income and were making good results. This action was supported by people who has a pioneering spirit in this area. Furthermore, the participants were old and young men and women, local community, and young immigrants, all of them were motivated to work regardless of their age and history of residence. For the development of collaboration activities between tourism and fishery, it was necessary for the local government to make plans with the fishery association, and to make an effort to adjust the relationship with tourism. |
