| 内容記述 | Due to the recent large influx of Syrian refugees, the City of Uppsala is dealing with many new migrants. The City of Uppsala is within commuting range of Stockholm, and large-scale development has been promoted as the population increases. This article describes some of the City of Uppsala's efforts at settlement support and social integration policies for migrants. Based on interviews with relevant persons conducted in March 2019, this article describes the current situation of and issues with training programs for social integration at Uppsala City Hall(Kommun), a Swedish language school for adult immigrants (SFI) run by city hall, and Swedish language support at a public school. The City of Uppsala has been taking the initiative in integrating immigrants into the local community and is actively working to improve the quality of administrative services by promoting the efficient use of human resources for migrants. | |||||||||||||
