| 内容記述 | This is the second paper that has focused on the established unequal power structure in Japan as similar shape of the world in succession with the previous edition. The center-periphery power structure historically formed by irrational sociopolitical alienation in the Japanese society between Tokyo and Tohoku did not change even after the post-war period when the successive Japanese governments had been engaging in national development. Prime minister Kakuei TANAKA in the beginning of 1970’s was a powerful politician who represented interests of rural area of northern part of Japan, and he schemed to do drastic national development for the sake of bringing economic fruits of the center of Japan into backward northern regions by executing money politics. On the other hand, Jun SHIMOKOBE, bureaucrat of planner of national development then, schemed to redistribute economic resources and production bases to local regions. However, due to lack of will for power redistribution or strong belief on center-oriented way of thinking, their ideas had just contributed to strengthen unequal formation of the Japanese society in the post-war era. In this context, Tohoku had been destined to bear nuclear facilities as big base of power supply to Tokyo as well as of restoration of nuclear wastes. In this paper, the author has made an academic trial to show the continuing centerperiphery structure in the Japanese society through critical thinking from historical perspective in the post-war period and tried to find wisdom for solution from viewpoint of our globalization studies as intellectual movement. |
