| 内容記述 | The food service industry is known to have a low profit ratio and thus thought to have low economic impact though its economic scale has been increasing, partly owing to the increase in single-person households. This study analyses the structure of Japan’s food service industry using the 2015 inputoutput tables. The results are summarized as follows. First, the profit divided by sales was quite low (approximately 2.5%) compared to that of intermediate commodities (approximately 60%), wages (approximately 30%), and depreciation (approximately 5%). Second, the inducement coefficients for other industries were small compared with those of the food service industry. Third, both the power and sensitivity of dispersion indices were small. | |||||||
