| 内容記述 | Parents having school age children were asked to answer the questionnaire to find the opinions to the disabled. Their son or daughter belong to one elementary school or two junior high schools. The available answers were five hundred and twenty. Almost all of them have the chance of meeting the disabled in the town or on the street. One fifth has visited the institution for the disabled. One fourth has the disabled acquaintances or friends. For them the disabled are familiar. First of all they think that the disabled are hard, then sympathize with the disabled person, but they do not think that the disabled are special. Over half of them could write their ideas for integrating the disabled into our society. Anticipation to welfare society, education of integrating the disabled children into the ordinary class or interexchange between the abled and the disabled, human ties, volunteer activities, regards to the disabled person's opinions, structural improvement of the town for going out, these ideas are very effective to create coexistence-society even though some steps are necessary to realize these ideas. Parents having these creative thinking have good effects on their children for accepting the disabled. |
