| 内容記述 | In the present study, suitable methods to estimate the location and dispersion of ability distribution were investigated in accordance with the equalization of tests based on the common-examinee design. In particular, with regard to cases that involve little data, where the form of the ability distribution does not necessarily follow a normal distribution, using robust methods of estimation such as median and quartile deviation or Mislevy s methods of estimation such as population mean and population variance may be more appropriate than using the arithmetic mean and variance of the estimates of ability parameters. The results of the simulations confirmed that the estimation results obtained from the arithmetic mean of the estimates of ability parameters were favorable for estimating the location of ability distribution, while the results obtained from quartile deviation and Mislevy s estimation of population variance were favorable for the dispersion of ability distribution. | |||||||||
