| 内容記述 | The aim of the present study was to examine personality traits related to depression evident in synthetic house-tree-person (S-HTP) drawings by analyzing the association between S-HTP and the Rorschach Depression Index (DEPI) and the Coping Deficit Index (CDI). A total of 43 diagnostically mixed patients (18 depression) participated in this study. Patients with schizophrenia were excluded. Categories for scoring S-HTP drawings were 37 of the 149 categories created by Mikami (1995) as well as 4 additional categories. Chi square analysis indicated that S-HIP drawings by patients with a positive CDI were likely to be non-perspective (two-dimensional) and have figures (i.e.houses, trees, or people) that were not integrated into the drawings. S-HTP drawings by those patients were also likely to feature a house with just one wall and no doors. The drawings were consistent with previous research that found that depressive patients drew non-perspective drawings and figures that were not integrated into the drawing. In contrast, the DEPI was not found to be associated with S-HTP drawings by depressive patients. Results indicated that limited interpersonal skills and deficits in social skills can appear in S-HTP drawings as personality traits related to depression, but emotional vulnerabilities or cognitive features such as negative thinking do not similarly appear. | |||||||||||||
