| 内容記述 | In this paper, I describe the changes in German energy policy and examine the strategic behaviors of German major electric power companies in the age of energy liberalization and globalization. Owing to the phasing out of nuclear power and the liberalization of energy markets, major electric power companies (RWE, E. ON, HEW, EnBW) have adopted drastic strategies for survival. They merged and acquired domestic and foreign power companies and integrated other network industries such as gas, water, and telecommunications. I consider the possibilities of domination of the Seven Brothers in the world markets for network-delivered services, such as the Seven Sisters in the world oil market. | |||||||
