| 内容記述 | This paper will advocate that Japanese universities should be increasing the number of international programs as well as developing programs for foreign students in Japan. The paper will cover reasons for international exchanges and how an institution might find international partners. It will discuss ideas on how international programs can generate favorable publicity for a university and may actually attract students and faculty as well. We will present a case for expanding foreign experiences beyond language and give some examples on how many international programs could be managed by one institution. This article will also discuss ideas on how to set up and staff an effective international office and what duties it should be allowed to undertake. | |||||||||
