| 内容記述 | Preventing disasters from occurring by taking proper steps in regions which are expected to be inundated by heavy rainfall is essential from an administrative standpoint. The fundamental point when drawing up countermeasures is the varied information concerning different regions. However, under the present situation, such information has been collected by each selfgoverning body as occasion demanded from an operation standpoint, so that the information collected tends to be duplicated in part but elsewhere incomplete, and thus, overall is not qualitatively satisfactory . Moreover, the information is recorded in various forms, such as entered in ledgers or expressed by means of maps or blueprints, and is therefore not unified. Consequently, there is much difficulty in obtaining information required for taking countermeasures. Furthermore, although this information is necessary is time of relief and rehabilitation work, it is impossible to obtain access to it quickly. The above problems can be solved by constructing a data base with basic information and referring to it as occasion demands. This paper gives an account of in what form a data base would be appropriatj, what items should be incorporated, and in what way maps and geographical information are recorded in the computer. |
