| 内容記述 | This paper is a study of psychotechnics in Taoism, focussed on Wu Liu School (伍柳派) in particular. As compared with other schools, Wu Liu School is more liberal in making publicly known its rules and even areas touching on its esoterica. Deeply influenced by Zen, it is said to have the greatest number of students of psychotechnics in Taoism. Some illustrations are used to to demonstrate processes of ascetic discipline, which is the main feature of this study. The area of spiritual training discussed by this paper has traditionally been named “xian-dad' (仙道) , which means “the Way to xian-jen” It is closely related with Yoga, esoteric Zen and Zen. In present-day China, however, this area of training is called “qi-gong” (気功), meaning “breathing exercise” , but the above-mentioned traditional name “xian-dad” has been in reuse in recent years. The extent of acceptance in Japan of this asceticism is also referred to. |
