| 内容記述 | I have discussed in Journal of The Faculty of International Studies Bunkyo University, Vol.11 No.2 (Fwb.2001) that companies, which have risen to global leadership, have captured essences of the function of Knowledge Management (KM). This paper's objective is to say that these companies, which were out of all proportion to their resources and capabilities, invariably began with ambitions. In addition to the important role of KM related to the notion mentioned in the above Journal, what is essentially more important is that these companies created an obsession with winning against the gigantic global competitors, in a sense "The Establishment", at all levels of organization and then sustained these obsession over the business initiative day up to now. This paper discusses these ambitions (an idea of what the excellent company ought to be) and have focused on "the company-founder's will" or "strategic intent". |
