| 内容記述 | In the modern history of Europe and Asia-Pacific region, we can observe unforgettable tragedies of the deaths caused by unprecedented brutal violence of the authoritarian regimes such as the case of those of Jewish people of the Holocaust, Chinese prisoners exploited as the subjects of experiments for developing bacteriological weapons, Koreans mobilized for supporting the Asia-Pacific War by the Japanese Imperial Army etc. Memories on their histories, however, have been often ignored and their lives have also been alienated by the authorities for the purpose of glossing over their blunders. We can say these deaths are eloquent “evidences” of the national crimes executed by modern nation states. In this paper, I have traced some places of the historical memories on the deaths paying my respect to irreplaceable their lost lives and tried to focus critical attentions on the national crimes. | |||||||
