内容記述 The purpose of this research is to develop a curriculum plan for New Media Studies of Social Studies. At the bottom of this study, there is the following idea : we need to let pupils consider who should and could do something to resolve social issues by using new media, aiming at making the bond closer between people and at making political actions wiser, in order to get our community more comfortable and politically more democratic. New media studies for social studies should not to become what only aims at teaching new aspects and convenience which new media bring to society. This basic idea was born through reading critically Media Matters, the topic book of media studies for citizenship in UK.
New media studies for social studies is to contribute to getting pupils consider who and how to improve community, along with teaching the possibilities and impacts of new media.
