| 内容記述 | This is a study of the "Tendai no Hongaku Shiso"(the fundamental enlightenment of the Tendai Buddhist Sect), an area of study increasingly attracting academic interest in recent years as an ultimate form of religious thought. As main objects of study Genshin's "Makura no Soshi" and "Shin? Nyo?Kan" were used, with Bankei's religious thought also taken into consideration in its connection with the fundamental enlightenment. Bankei, a Zen Master, lived in the early Tokugawa Period. In the course of the study, the form of thought represented in Karl Jaspers' "Das Lesen der Chiffreschrift" would be examined. Also, a reference would be made the religious thought of the Early Egyptians, which seems optimistic in contrast to that of the Semitic Peoples. |
