| 内容記述 | Since the establishment of Japanese software industry in 1970's, it had prospered without being affected by business fluctuation. But the circumstances have totally changed after the great reccession and the technogolical innovation attacked it in early 1990's. Japanese software industry is composed of many small companies with hierarchical structure. Small companies without capability to cope with environmental change lost clients and went down. In this paper the results of the panel survey of software companies conducted in March 1996 to make clear the impacts of economical and technological change in this 5 years are reviewed. And it reveals that more than 20% of the software companies which responded the former survey in 1991 went down and the gross sales of the survived companies were down by 24% in comparison with their peaks in spite of desperate efforts to adjust new computer technology and market change. \n 1970年代の成立かち景気変動の影響をほとんど受けずに年率30%にも達する高度成長を続けてきたソフトウェァ業界は、バブル経済崩壊の影響とコンピュータ技術の革新というダブルパンチを受けて、大きな試練の荒波に揉まれた。この荒波の余波は依然続いているが、経済情勢の改善を受けて、現在小康状態に入りつつある。この時期を捉えて、今年3月、前回調査(バブル経済の崩壊という厳しい局面を迎える直前の1991年7-9月に実施2)の回答ソフトウェア企業804社を対象にパネル調査を行った。調査の項目は、主として、この間の企業環境の変化、それに対する企業の対応、現在の経営状態、今後の事業農開などである。調査対象企業の内、220社はすでに倒産などで調査不能であり・齟実際の調査対象数は584社であった。その内の有効回答数は、148社(27%)であった。以下においては、今回、回答のあった148社について、前回調査結果との比較を中心に、この5年間の変貌を探る。 |
